I know, I know, I'm Sorry

It's been a bit mad lately. Yes Del, I went on "Train the Trainer Training", No I did honest! With a chap called BOB and Chris and I rather predictably simultanously repeated BOB in the usual Black Adder stylee. Which quietly amused us if no one else!! Weirdly, enjoyed the training (anyone who knows me knows what a shocking attention span I have so meetings, training etc. have to be really lively or I'm away with the fairies ). BOB was a bit keen and had the weirdest laugh that you either stared at in horror or you looked away like you would if there was a car crash ensuing. Sorry BOB but you laugh weird!

I am now officially allowed to spread the news Chris has got a blog. All guests are welcome as long as you wipe you feet as he's on a bit of a cleaning spree! so press on Chris and he'll let you in (think of it as a door bell).

He bought some rather smashing shoes which I deeply approved of, I'll let him tell you as he usually doesn't get a word in once I start!

Just back from Winchester and I'm proud to report I bought nothing. I may never shop again as we may be moving really soon. Just a quick warning let you know when I know more.

Ok I'll try and do better and add stuff.

Irish day thingie

I realise this is a day late but it's soooo worth it. As a small part of me is Irish (the bit behind my left ear lobe) I have to show a silly picture of a badly dressed dog. Did you know that St Patrick was english? No! Yes!

Ok so last night I went to see V for Vendetta. I was rather looking forward to it until one of my flatmates informed me it was supposed to be rubbish. Jonathon Ross said so!!! Well as much as I love and admire old Jon boy I have to say YOU ARE WRONG. It was fab in fact, it was so good I tried to not go to the loo through it. but, age will only allow so much holding back and I missed a few minutes I can highly recomend it (although not everyone felt as I did).

Bothering a Botherer...

Hello lovelies

Well so far I have used this blog to inform and bore folk about shoes and er more shoes. Well if you click here you will be magically transported to a fab blog. This chap has basically put a spotlight on all those horrid organisations that are hate focussed by subscribing them to magazines of groups of people they hate. What fun I have a friend (hi Rach) who's youth group subcribed her to loads of mags mostly about leprousy and the like. Got to admire a good practical joke.

Bunny Flash

Hello

Well I just had to let you know that Brokeback Mountain has been spoofed by those fab bunnies and it's great. However I haven't seen brokeback yet but there are so many spoofs of it out there... Brokeback to the future, sponge Bob square pants.... there are probably more but The Bunnies do it for me.

It's been a fairly uneventful week although I went to a blog and bought a book! You see the potential to shop is everywhere. Check out this blog very interesting lady. I'm finishing about 3 other books at the moment but when I get to Clares I'll let you know what I thought. It's called The Dying of Delight (I initially wrote Drying of Delight completely different sort of book) .

Rag bone......

I know this is turning into a weird boot blog but had to tell you I managed to sell my animal print DM's. This is very exciting for me as it's my first sale. I bought the little fellas at a second hand shop for the princely fee of £3.00. I just sold them for £16.50. Which makes you ask the question why do folk get sniffy about buying shoes in second hand shops but, will barter to within an inch of their lives on ebay???? I neither know nor care I made £13.50 on a pair of old boots. I've found it's actually slightly more exciting selling than buying.

The other day whilst having a quick dust I found a DVD HitchHikers guide to the galaxy series I'd bought Chris for his birthday. However, I knew that this was in another cupboard. I got them both took a picture and texted it to Chris asking him if he had already got the series before I'd bought it. He's a nice bloke and wouldn't say.

I got a really panicy text back saying DON'T SELL IT ON EBAY. It was in fact my other flatmates. This kind of shows the fear my poor flatmate is under. It actually hadn't occured to me. Although....

Trouble At Mill....

Well, I've been happily playing online and just noticed I've not updated my blog.

Very tardy of me.

I've been viewing isandmonkey and he's got some really interesting art on there so have a look. He took me down memory lane with pictures of old factories this reminded me of playing in the cotton mills as a child (no mum never knew... ) they were fabulous and dangerous one near our house had all the old Spinning Jennys still in there we had to cross Tinker Brook to break in. This wasn't that easy as the banks were steep and we had to climb around a barbed wire fence. lot's of near misses, but we were determined. We must have been spotted as one day when we managed to sneak down and the entrance had been bricked up. This looking back was probably a good thing.

Another mill we use to try and explore has been turned into The Bubble Factory which has made a fab job of a decaying old mill with shopping gallore. It just took someone with a love af architecture, history and a nose for making money. This brought new jobs into the community and another fun place to shop that wasn't another souless Mall.

Oh yes, the shoes are fabulous I can't drive in them but, I want to wear them all the time so spare pair in the car for driving. I feel like a proper old dear now as I have driving gloves and shoes. It takes ruddy ages going anywhere with me. I may start getting the bus again it's quicker.

I've been off work this week with a lurgy nothing desperate but enough to make me feel sorry for myself. I got quiet bored and started dreaming about work. I'm back on saturday and weirdly I'm looking forward to it!!!!!
