Eurovision baby yeah....

Well the best band won FINLAND but I have to see most of the woman in the room were gunning for Lithuania who were a bunch of forty odd year old blokes who looked like they'd met at the pub and put the "We are the Winners" (of eurovision) together in five minutes and then entered. England and Ireland gave them lots of points I think because it was so nice to see another band with a sense of humour (and a twinkle) .

There was also Latvia who had some strange puppet thing and mad dancing which we loved as it was bonkers. So a great night was had except for some odd comment from a friend of a friend about Turkish people which made us all uncomfortable and offended the whole room (I hope!) Heigh Hoo finding it harder as I get older to tollerate small mindedness want to react in a unmiddleclass manner which includes foul language and references to lack of parents.

I'm still in the land of the living just a bit bogged under at the moment. So sorry for the lack of blogness. Not a great deal to report other than working, sleeping, talking and eating! But it's Eurovision this Saturaday which means listenning to good old Terry getting more and more er under the influence as the evening progresses God Bless him, love that man.

Bank Holiday Chihuahuas

What is it about rock pools? I still get madly excited when we get near one lots of memories of family holidays in Scotland crab hunting. Well on Bank Holiday Monday we trundled off exploring Dorset can't remember everywhere we went but we ended up in Portland Bill. We are by the lighthouse in this picture and have discovered that all our phones have changed to a french network which makes us all feel in the holiday mood.

We are inspecting a rock pool that in a few moments time Chris (who took this picture) will spectacularly slide into trying to drag me with him. Once discovered he was ok was allowed to laugh so hard no noise came out. Why is that SO funny? I really ached after and it topped off an amazing day.

Earlier we looked at the view from the top of Portland and met a lady with a small Chihuahua it was basically a small ball of fluff wearing a diamond knecklace very Paris Hilton. It made Fee very keen to get one, more as a toy for the cat to play with, than as a pet in itself. I have to admite this tiny furry creature was extremely cute and very affectionate made me forget for a moment all about Ren (Ren and Stimpy) but have no doubt he will grow and have eyes on storks and will be forever under foot and yapping all hours of the day and night. However it could leave by the cat flap and take itself for a walk round the garden. so low maintence., doe this dog look low maintance?
